Compass checks these rules in the background every couple of minutes. When one matches, it drafts the configured content with AI (or creates a follow-up task if no API key is set yet) and logs it below. A rule can optionally send the drafted email automatically with no human review — off by default; turn it on per rule only once you trust it.
Outbound email isn't configured yet, so auto-send won't do anything until you set it up — see Settings.
